Fabcraft
Nemesis A-M
This Fabcraft chassis is for Monica!!
We're gonna see how much pull I have to get mine done
before Mike's !!! My motto will just have to be "Happy
Wife, Happy Life" !!
I'm going to do our complete chassis
based on the Arctic Cat M-series bulkhead in a 162".
We've tried to work a CMX belt drive into this chassis
but it just doesn't work. So I'm stuck with the Diamond
drive, which just doesn't have the instant backshift
I want. So we are going to experiment with a completely
new secondary clutch. I'm also getting rid of that darn
EFI with it's mid range bog, and going to a carbed motor.
I'm taking a base 700cc and putting a Cutler 870 kit
on it.

Finally
got someone to start my sled. I was thinking I
was gonna have to start making threats!! Luckily
the tunnel had been made months before. Steve's
just finishing the Stage 1 to take to powder coat.
I've
decided on a taupe color with black accents. For
you "he-men" out there who haven't gotten
in touch with your feminine side, you would call
it "grey-brown" !!!

| Leif
and Ed riveting the runningboards on and finishing
up the cooler. |
|
| Stage
1 complete and I do have to defend myself.... Although
the guys say my sled comes first over Mike's because
I sign the paychecks, the truth is Mike already
has a sled to ride while I am "sledless".
So since he wanted a riding buddy, mine needed to
get finished first. So that's my story and I'm sticking
to it !!!! |
|
| Front
suspension going together rather nicely!! |
|
| Now
the track is going on ...... |
|
| Upside
down is always easier!! |
|
| Now
the suspension.... |
|
|
and
now some body skins and gas tank.
Finally
getting closer. We've got great snow right now
and we are both chomping at the bit to get riding.
For some reason, Mike thinks that life would be
easier for him if he stays home from sledding
until I can go. Not sure why he would think that.......

|
| Wahoo!!!!
My sled is finally finished and wow does it look
good!! Now to get out on the snow!!! I'm gonna have
a blast!! |
