About Us

Lainy Duncan

Lainy is the daughter of Chawn and Shelby Duncan of Lander Wyoming. She loves to go sledding with her folks, but her little Polaris 120 just isn't enough anymore. So Dad is having us trick it out so she can get some more years out of it as she grows!!
We are going to lengthen it to a 124 x 1.25 with a custom Fabcraft Rear Suspension and Tunnel. Then we'll put in a 10hp motor with real snowmobile clutches; our miniature Trailing Arms with long travel front shocks; a Boss seat; taller handlebars; and some PowerMadd skis.
Hold on Lainy, this will be a fun build for Mike and he'll get it to you before Christmas!!

Here's the 'before'.....it's very easy to manhandle. Just buckets to hold it up!!
When we get done, it's gonna look very 'trick'. Lainy, you won't even recognize it!!
We've taken off the track so we can send it to get lengthened
Here's the little stock motor; soon to be replaced by something to keep up with Mom!!
Here's all that's left of your sled Lainy!!
Just the bulkhead!!
But here's the new tunnel.

Our sincerest apologies to Lainy and her folks. We missed their Christmas deadline. Custom work can sometimes not go as intended. There were alot more modifications to the bulkhead with this new motor; the 'skins' had to be adjusted around the footwells and we can't send the final pieces to powder coat until they are all put together in a mock set-up. We will get this sled to you guys, even if we have to deliver it personally.

Here's the little monster motor

Mike cutting the bulkhead/tunnel to fit the clutches/driveshaft, etc
Fitting everything....
Now getting the motor to fit in, which took quite awhile
He's getting there, though!

The little suspension
Riveting the suspension brackets
The track is back from being lengthened.
Fitting the suspension
Looks almost big enough for an adult!
Modifying the footwells to adapt to the skins
Looks really nice, Mike!
Mock up with steering post, motor and front suspension.... now it's off to powder coat.
Mike has to take apart everything he just put together.
Wahoo. Back from powder coat!
Stage 1 done - riveting bulkhead to tunnel.
Putting the finishing touches on the suspension
Riveting the suspension brackets to the tunnel
Suspension and track DONE!!!
Motor and steering hoop are in.
Front suspension DONE!!
Another view of the cute little mini arms and clutches!!
We are really happy with how our seat turned out!!
Steering post and brake line/lever getting added
Now the steering post and electrical. We put heated grips on and hope this little monster motor has enough oomph to heat them up!
Belly pan and skins
And the final thing: We made a little customized tail flap with something we thought would fit Lainy!!!

So now we are just waiting on the muffler which has not arrived yet, get the shocks set, and start that motor!
