Mike Sailer
is from Lyndon Station, WI. We are taking his '09 Polaris
Dragon 800 -121" and turning it into a 156"
mountain sled! We'll be putting on a tunnel in a custom
powder coat color, a rear suspension, and a belt drive.
We'll also be modding his motor with a 860 big bore
kit from Carls Cycle.
Mike, you're
gonna love this sled when it's done!!

worry Mike, this will eventually morph back into
a sled!!
Steve
worked so fast, I never got a picture of him modifying
the bulkhead for the belt drive! But here he's tacking
the tunnel to the bulkhead.
Now
he and Mike are riveting it permanently!
Now
the stage 1 is complete! Off to powdercoat.
Ok,
everything is back from powdercoat. Black with blue
runningboards. Looks great! Steve's got the steering
hoop on....
....and
is starting into the belt drive install.

now working on the suspension...

with the first shock and starting the second.

the motor is finally back from Carl's Cycle!!

she goes!
If
all goes well we could have her on the snow within
a week to test her out before she goes back to
Mike. (Yes, we are still sledding!) Mike, you
should fly out and take her for her maiden run!!
Now
things are hopping! Front end done, motor in, pipes
on.....
fluids
filled.....
...and
now the fit and finish of the little things. The
plan is to start her up this afternoon (5/28) and
head for the snow!
